So the question is how we can insert a picture into an email’s body.

Well it seems that this is a quite easy task for many email clients, but unfortunately not always
for “windows live mail”. In “windows live mail”, they would like you to upload it on the web,
meaning, if the photo is not on a website but rather on the hard drive of your computer then you
cannot easily do this task. So if you want to insert a photo that is on your hard drive (on your
computer) then you will need to upload the photo first to a webhost. Once your photo is uploaded.
Open that photo in your browser, right click on it, Copy, then go to the text block of your new
mail, place your cursor where you want your photo to be, and then Paste it.
I really don't want to go through this hassle.

ANOTHER EASIER SOLUTION, if you do not want to go through that trouble try this method.
NOTE: THIS DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON.

Add photos to e-mail message body from your hard drive location.
You can add photos to e-mail messages in two ways:
1) inline (Part of the body of an e-mail message.) 2) in a photo e-mail (A Windows Live Mail e-
mail message containing multiple photos in a photo layout.) .

1) Add photos to an e-mail message inline
Start Windows Live Mail.
On the Windows Live Mail toolbar, click New to create a new e-mail message.
In the body of the e-mail message, click where you want to insert photos.
On the Insert menu, point to Image, and then click Inline.
Browse to and select the photo file that you want to insert.
Click Open.
Format and send your e-mail.

This all sounds easy but it simply does not always work.
We have been so annoyed with this that we are switching to
Mozilla Thunderbird as soon as Version 3 comes out in Nov. 09.
From our tests, it seems to be a very good free email program for Windows 7.
